The wedding season ended and after a couple of months with only 2 weddings in between, I felt like I was missing something… Surely it wasn’t my workstation as I have been glued to it, editing like a crazy machine to make sure all my lovely clients get their films sooner. Suddenly, I realised it was my cameras I was missing! It’s a weird thing realising I pick up a camera every day of the week and that is even more intense during the summer due to the busy wedding season. So I decided to get out and do something about it! How about a couple engagement photography session? But hey, it is winter! Oh well, winter is just another season and we can make it work!
A couple of months ago I was contacted by Megan, who is a talented special effects make-up artist, enquiring about my services for her wedding later this year. We spoke for some time, built a connection and I thought her strong features were really striking! Soon we were arranging a couple engagement photography session.
Megan and James have known each other for a long time, since they work together, and after the wedding they are looking to spend time travelling, although the location of this couple shoot, Thetford Forest, is local to both me and the couple.
Megan and James were so brave and kind! It was freezing! We were lucky though to have been blessed by some amazing light! We got deep into Thetford Forest and the result you can see below. We had a great time, talking about wedding plans, life, had some beers and I am pleased to say, Megan and James are another couple I have the pleasure to call friends. Their enthusiasm for life and love for each other is just stunning! I have no doubt they will have a strong and happy marriage.
